Best coffee in Ceour dlane? Ceour delene? Ceour d’Alene.

We grew up in Spokane (40 minutes West of this city) and I cannot, to this say, spell this darn word. I mean really. 

But don’t let my misspelling deceive you, I lovvve this town—it’s not just me, though. It is currently the fastest growing city in the U.S.! I can see the appeal—a wide variety of good food, the lake, the vibe, what else could one want? While you are here, make sure to put coffee on your list of stops. This city has slowly become a hotspot with a few good shops you MUST check out. 

Ok topping the list is:

1. The Coeur D’Alene coffee company: This is undoubtedly the best coffeeshop in Coeur D’Alene with a massive space. It has loads of seating with all different types of cushy chairs and couches and even a large fireplace! This is the type of place where the coffee itself is very good & so are their fun spins on classic drinks. Ambiance: 9 Coffee: 7 Food: 4
2. Vault Coffee: This coffeeshop is cute-as-a-button, vintage and a beautiful combo of black, white and lime green. The seating is comfy and plentiful, and the baristas are as sweet as the coffee is. Ambiance: 7 Coffee: 7 Food: 5
3. Brews Brothers: I loved the mix of brick and steel surrounding you as you enter this space. Ambiance: 6 Coffee: 6 Food: 5
4. Union Roasters: This is a little out of the way, but the white interior and fun lattes make it worth the stop (I also recommend getting one of the waffles they are known for). Ambiance: 7 Coffee: 5 Food: 6
5. Fine Brewed Cafe: This coffeeshop is a mix of a bar, pub and coffeeshop. The coffee was tasty with a chocolatey, bitter finish, and next time I will be sure to try their bagels and sandwiches. Ambiance: 6 Coffee: 6 Food: 6
6. Terre: This is a straightforward, quality coffeeshop with a sweet coffee if you want one. I recommend a cold brew, add mint. Ambiance: 7 Coffee: 7 Food: 5
7. Calypsos: If a mix-match, hipster, comfy coffeeshop with a lot of food options is what you want, Calypsos is the way to go. The coffee and food are pretty good but the location is great, being right next to the lake. Ambiance: 6 Coffee: 5 Food: 6
8. The Wellness bar: Although this is more of a health food shop, it does have coffee, so it landed on the list. This place has lattes & Doma coffee, smoothies, salads, acai bowls, & protein waffles. The inside has tables & chairs, is super cute, but is a little on the smaller side. If you want your coffee with an extra shot of healthy motivation, this is the place for you! Ambiance: 7 Coffee: 5 Food: 8
