A House?! A house! This coffee shop is literally located in a house in Fairfax, VA. So neat! So cool! So homey! This means it is usually three levels (covid means restricted to one level) of cozy places to sit inside (couches, chairs, and tables). On the first level, there are a few outlets, and wifi is available. Because the tables available were similar to normal restaurant tables, they were not very comfortable for a long time. But, there are also seats outside and lots of easy parking.
I ordered a hot latte with 2% milk that ended up being $5.23 with tax. The Stumptown coffee was great, with a light chocolate aftertaste that is sweet and dry. Also, the froth was pretty good not amazing. There were good food options: croissant sandwiches, toast, bagels, sandwiches, and salads. The prices were pretty average.
It was not busy on this Friday morning, making it a pretty good place to study, but the music was a little louder. Also, it seemed to be family run with a barista that was kind.
- Coffee 7/10
- Price 7/10
- Ambiance 6/10
