Revel 77, Spokane, WA

3223 E 57th Ave K, Spokane, WA 99223

Revel 77 is unexpected. When walking in, it seemed like another industrial coffeehouse, but its personal touches and kind baristas make it a place you want to go back to over and over…. and over. Also, its tasty coffee doesn’t hurt.

Revel 77 is located at the end of a strip mall, but walking in feels like it could be a million miles away. It is a blend of wood, teal and a large Revel sign. There is a lot of seating with some lining the walls, a couch in the back, a center long table and seating outside. All of it looks like some brilliant carpenter built it just for this place. We have sat in all of these areas by this point, but always hope for the couch.

When ordering, we asked the friendly barista what his favorites are. We end up with a matcha w almond milk + sugar free vanilla ($6.55) and a latte w black pepper and clove flavoring (about $6). Revel has very frothy coffee that reminds you why you spend all your extra dollars on bean water. Of course, because our cookie monster of a father joined this outing, we tried the Black and White chocolate chip cookie and Gingerbread Cookie. They have pastries as well as some other savory snacks on the menu. Overall, the prices are a little above average.

Revel is a pretty good place to study: it is a nice temperature, and has light music, wifi and a water station. Also, seems like not a bad first date place (after we saw some people that seemed to be just getting to know each other if you know what I mean).
