Three whistles feels too cool for me, can I say that? Like the person who can rock plaid, stripes and sunglasses and say “try me?” Honestly, I feel a little cooler walking into here.
Three Whistles is a hip, large space that dedicates itself to providing a place for people to work (which I can appreciate). There are working tables in the back you can rent and reserve, but the rest is open to the public (ie me). The place is filled with tables, the sides lined with comfy seating and a few couches are tucked in too. The copious amounts of seating are surrounded by neutral woods, greenery and modern art.

I ventured into this place for the first time on a Sunday afternoon. As the sun warmed my skin, I ordered a cold brew (4.12) and sat down in one of the comfy benches and got to work. Some light alternative music hummed in the background as I struggled through some Civil Procedure AKA “Civ Pro.” This was a nice place to study because working here is an expectation rather than an inconvenience, and it also provides a great place to meet up with a friend or try a variety of food. The coffee was flavorful, slightly citrusy and smooth.

The menu is filled with options (prices were decent, pretty average) including crepes, bowls, sandwiches, omelettes, pastries, salads and more. And . . . if you need beer or wine after a long day, they’ve got you covered.
