Carrera de San Francisco, 12 Madrid, Spain
I have walked by Pastora many times, and it constantly has a flow of people in and out so I knew it would be good and I was not disappointed.

This coffeeshop, undoubtedly with some of the best coffee in Madrid, is a small cute space with coffee and a few sweet treats. Also, there is a fridge with cool drinks, and artisan gifts lining the walls like wine, spreads and seasonings.

The coffee is the type of coffee that could rejuvenate someone. I love movies that joke that brownies or cake or tea can fix everything; I think coffee to a coffee drinker (like myself) is really what does it. The coffee was smooth with notes of citrus and caramel. I had a medium latte (2.7 euros) which was just wonderful. The baristas serving the coffee are also welcoming and chill.

The space is hip but not pretentious. It has neutral rock walls with notes of brown and a calm green. Also, please note, there are only a few seats inside and outside because it is a small space.

Overall, Pastora is a necessary stop for anyone who loves coffee in Madrid.
