Basecamp Coffee

8461 Leesburg Pike, Tysons, VA 22182

This is one of most unique coffeeshops I have ever been in. From the outside it is unassuming because it is connected to a climbing gym. But inside it is the perfect coffeeshop for an outdoor lover. National parks and scenic landscapes line the walls. Black, brown, and other natural tones come together to make you feel like you could really be outside.

Today, I opted for a London Fog (call me crazy, I know). It was very tasty ($4.08). Overall, the prices are very reasonable. They have the usual smattering of espresso and non-coffee options (matcha, etc.). Also, the baristas were very warm and approachable. They also have a collection of pastries, bottled drinks and snacks.

One of the best things about this place is is has a ton of seating. People were spread out, some chatting, some working, and some, a mix of the two. I found a seat at a table by the window. It was comfortable and relatively quiet, a great place to settle in for a study session.

I studied for the bar (again) and enjoyed the chance to relax in this spot as I did so. It was great to be motivated by the other people working on this Tuesday morning.
